Based on the ancient Dhokra art form. Dhokra is a form of metal casting practiced by the Dhokra community found in Bastar, Odisha and West Bengal. It can be traced back to 4000 years ago when the famous 'dancing tribal girl' of Mohenjodaro was discovered. Its a labourious technique that requires making moulds, drying them, fashioning artifacts using beeswax and melting metal for the final products.
