The first is a beautiful hand-painted wall/table plate that depicts a Koli fisherwoman of Mumbai. The kolis were the original residents of Mumbai and fished for a living before Mumbai turned out as the commercial capital of India.
The Koli woman belongs to Mumbai and considers it her home despite the tough & harsh life she lives here. She works for a living and is tough and strong.
Salute her spirit and bring Mumbai & India home with the wall/table plate.
The other is a beautiful hand-painted wall/table plate that depicts the 'Victoria Terminus' a famous landmark in the commercial city of Mumbai, India.
The Train station was built by the British in 1887 during their occupation of India as per victorian gothic architecture. It is the headquarters of the Central railway in India and is one of the best known landmarks of Mumbai, apart from being the busiest also.
It was renamed to 'Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus' in 1996, to honour Shivaji Maharaj.
