Taken from the 'Barahmasa' by kavi Keshavdasa theme depicts various seasons in the Indian subcontinent and as an extension of it in the patachitra art form, Krishna and Radha's romance in various seasons such as monsoons, winters , spring and the hot summer. This theme though extensively used in the Rajasthani art form, is aslo popular in patachitra theme and has been depicted by award winning artists.
