A lovingly hand woven pure silk khandua saree with pasapali border that has been hand painted with Patachitra folk art by one of our women artists.

This saree depicts the Mathura gaman of lord Krishna on the invitation of his uncle, the evil Kansa. The gopis spread themselves on the road to stop the lord from proceeding.

This saree is special as the painting is done on a Khandua mulberry ikkat saree with a pasapali border. The border and the deep colors of the saree lend a special look to the overall look of the saree

It’ll get you attention whether you seek it or not.

Patachitra is the folk art of Odisha and originated in the 12th century in Puri, Odisha. It depicts various themes based on the life of Lord Jagannath.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SAREE IS MADE TO ORDER AND NOT READY TO SHIP
